For the fifth consecutive year, the Angolan refined olive oil market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -1.1% to $X in 2022. In general, consumption, however, continues to indicate a noticeable contraction. As a result, consumption reached the peak level of $X. In 2022, Portugal (X tons) was the main supplier of refined olive oil to Angola, accounting for a 92% share of total imports. It was followed by Italy (X tons), with a 2.6% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Portugal stood at -6.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (+1.8% per year) and the Netherlands (+21.4% per year).
