In value terms, shelled hazelnut imports fell to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a dramatic shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 39% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Portugal (X tons) constituted the largest shelled hazelnut supplier to Angola, with a 82% share of total imports.
