Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-medical x-ray imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 297%. Imports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, China (X tons) constituted the largest non-medical x-ray supplier to Argentina, accounting for a 50% share of total imports.
