The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by 141%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Paraguay (X square meters) was the main destination for photographic film exports from Argentina, accounting for a 91% share of total exports. Moreover, photographic film exports to Paraguay exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Brazil (X square meters), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Bolivia (X square meters), with a 2% share.

As a result, imports reached the peak of X square meters. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, photographic film imports expanded markedly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, saw a abrupt decrease. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
