Bolivia (X kg) was the main destination for radiator exports from Argentina, with a 74% share of total exports. Moreover, radiator exports to Bolivia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Colombia (X kg), fivefold. Peru (X kg) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 6.7% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Bolivia amounted to -10.1%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Colombia (-17.7% per year) and Peru (-17.2% per year).
In value terms, Colombia ($X) remains the key foreign market for radiators for central heating (not electrically heated) exports from Argentina, comprising 80% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Bolivia ($X), with a 13% share of total exports. It was followed by Peru, with a 3.5% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Colombia was relatively modest. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Bolivia (-12.7% per year) and Peru (-12.3% per year).

In 2022, the average radiator export price amounted to $X per ton, declining by -72.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 458% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton, and then reduced remarkably in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Colombia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Bolivia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Brazil (+40.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Argentina
After four years of growth, overseas purchases of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated) decreased by -42.9% to X tons in 2022. In general, imports, however, posted strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 173% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then contracted markedly in the following year.
In value terms, radiator imports contracted rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 178%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped significantly in the following year.
Imports by Country
In 2022, China (X tons) was the main supplier of radiator to Argentina, with a 98% share of total imports. It was followed by Turkey (X tons), with a 2% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from China totaled +20.6%.
In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated) to Argentina, comprising 98% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Turkey ($X), with a 0.8% share of total imports.
