The average hand stamp export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, waning by -25.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 184%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Overall, imports, however, faced a deep reduction. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, hand stamp imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Imports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest hand stamp supplier to Argentina, with a 75% share of total imports. Moreover, hand stamp imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Austria (X units), more than tenfold. Chile (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 4.4% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from China totaled -12.9%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Austria (-10.0% per year) and Chile (+5.0% per year).
In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of stamps for use in the hand to Argentina, comprising 49% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Austria ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by South Korea, with an 8.7% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from China was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Austria (-9.1% per year) and South Korea (+1.7% per year).
