In value terms, agricultural harvester exports fell sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Thailand dominates exports structure, resulting at X units, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. Myanmar (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to agricultural harvester exports from Thailand stood at X%. At the same time, Myanmar (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Myanmar emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in ASEAN, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. While the share of Thailand (X p.p.) and Myanmar (X p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Thailand ($X) remains the largest agricultural harvester supplier in ASEAN, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Myanmar ($X), with a X% share of total exports.

Export Prices by Country

The export price in ASEAN stood at $X per unit in 2022, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced reduction. From 2019 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Myanmar ($X per unit), while Thailand stood at $X per unit.

Imports in ASEAN

In 2022, imports of agricultural harvesters in ASEAN fell markedly to X units, with a decrease of X% compared with 2021 figures. In general, imports, however, recorded a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, agricultural harvester imports declined notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a notable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2022, the Philippines (X units), Thailand (X units) and Cambodia (X units) represented the largest importer of agricultural harvesters in ASEAN, achieving X% of total import. Indonesia (X units) took the next position in the ranking, followed by Lao People's Democratic Republic (X units) and Vietnam (X units). All these countries together held near X% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Lao People's Democratic Republic (with a CAGR of X%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in ASEAN stood at $X per unit in 2022, jumping by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($X per unit), while Lao People's Democratic Republic ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
