Over the period under review, imports of attained the peak figure at X square meters in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, imports of boards, sheets, panels, tiles and similar articles of plaster not faced contracted to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a slight decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 43% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports of hit record highs at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
