Thailand represented the key importer of calendering and rolling machines in ASEAN, with the volume of imports reaching X units, which was approx. 71% of total imports in 2021. The following importers - Indonesia (X units) and the Philippines (X units) - together made up 6.2% of total imports.

Thailand was also the fastest-growing in terms of the calendering and rolling machines imports, with a CAGR of +51.1% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, the Philippines (+21.2%) and Vietnam (+17.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. In Vietnam, calendering machine imports expanded at an average annual rate of +22.2% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Thailand (+3.6% per year) and Indonesia (-7.3% per year).
