In 2021, the ASEAN copper powder market increased by 15% to $X for the first time since 2015, thus ending a five-year declining trend. Over the period under review, consumption, however, showed a abrupt downturn. The level of consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Export Prices by Country

The export price in ASEAN stood at $X per ton in 2021, surging by 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a mild downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the export price increased by 36%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2015 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while Malaysia totaled $X per ton.

In 2021, the amount of copper powders and flakes imported in ASEAN soared to X tons, picking up by 264% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a strong increase. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, the import price in ASEAN amounted to $X per ton, jumping by 50% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed a resilient expansion. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
