Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($X per ton), while Thailand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+6.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in ASEAN
Imports of tiles, flagstones and similar articles of cement, concrete or artificial stone totaled X tons in 2021, rising by 6.4% on the year before. Overall, imports posted a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 59%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, imports of tiles, flagstones and similar articles of cement, concrete or artificial stone skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 72%. Over the period under review, imports of hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, Malaysia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported tiles, flagstones and similar articles of cement, concrete or artificial stone in ASEAN, comprising 46% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Vietnam ($X), with a 20% share of total imports. It was followed by Singapore, with an 11% share.
