At the same time, Turkey (+27.6%), India (+17.4%), Thailand (+12.8%) and Indonesia (+3.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of +27.6% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Malaysia (-2.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Turkey, India and Thailand increased by +8.9, +8.4 and +2 percentage points, respectively.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest activated natural mineral products supplier in Asia, comprising 43% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by India ($X), with a 14% share of total exports. It was followed by Indonesia, with a 14% share.

In China, activated natural mineral products exports expanded at an average annual rate of +5.6% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: India (+13.3% per year) and Indonesia (+1.7% per year).
