Bangladesh (X tons) held a little share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by the Philippines (with a CAGR of +8.0%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest black printing ink importing markets in Asia were China ($X), Singapore ($X) and India ($X), together accounting for 33% of total imports. The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan (Chinese), the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 54%.

Vietnam, with a CAGR of +12.0%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the import price increased by 11% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2021, and then declined in the following year.
