India (X tons) and South Korea (X tons) were the major exporters of blood-grouping reagents in 2022, recording near 33% and 24% of total exports, respectively. Singapore (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total exports with an 8.8% share, followed by China (7.3%), Turkey (7.2%) and the United Arab Emirates (4.8%). Israel (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Turkey (with a CAGR of +45.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest blood-grouping reagents supplying countries in Asia were India ($X), South Korea ($X) and Singapore ($X), with a combined 62% share of total exports. Turkey, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and China lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 27%.
Among the main exporting countries, Turkey, with a CAGR of +40.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. Export price indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, blood-grouping reagents export price decreased by -11.5% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 54% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, blood-grouping reagents imports expanded to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 33%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, China (X tons), distantly followed by Saudi Arabia (X tons), Japan (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and the Philippines (X tons) were the main importers of blood-grouping reagents, together constituting 69% of total imports. Kuwait (X tons), India (X tons), Cyprus (X tons), Singapore (X tons), Indonesia (X tons), the United Arab Emirates (X tons) and Israel (X tons) held a relatively small share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Kuwait (with a CAGR of +25.7%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest blood-grouping reagents importing markets in Asia were China ($X), Saudi Arabia ($X) and Japan ($X), with a combined 58% share of total imports. Kuwait, India, Thailand, Turkey, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Indonesia, Cyprus and the Philippines lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 30%.
Kuwait, with a CAGR of +20.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, remaining constant against the previous year. Import price indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, blood-grouping reagents import price decreased by -3.1% against 2020 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 19%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Kuwait ($X per ton), while the Philippines ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
