In value terms, the largest blood-grouping reagents supplying countries in Asia were India ($X), South Korea ($X) and Singapore ($X), with a combined 62% share of total exports. Turkey, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and China lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 27%.

Among the main exporting countries, Turkey, with a CAGR of +40.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. Export price indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, blood-grouping reagents export price decreased by -11.5% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 54% against the previous year. The import price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, remaining constant against the previous year. Import price indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, blood-grouping reagents import price decreased by -3.1% against 2020 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 19%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
