Taiwan (Chinese) was the largest exporter of blow lamps in Asia, with the volume of exports resulting at X tons, which was approx. 56% of total exports in 2022. China (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Israel (X tons). All these countries together held approx. 36% share of total exports. The following exporters - South Korea (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Japan (X tons) - each amounted to a 5.5% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Israel (with a CAGR of +179.1%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Taiwan (Chinese) ($X) remains the largest blow lamp supplier in Asia, comprising 60% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by China ($X), with an 18% share of total exports. It was followed by Israel, with an 11% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Taiwan (Chinese) totaled +13.8%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: China (+5.7% per year) and Israel (+174.5% per year).

In 2022, the export price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, increasing by 3.5% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.9%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when the export price increased by 25% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($X per ton), while China ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+6.3%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, overseas purchases of blow lamps increased by 17% to X tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Over the period under review, imports saw a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 31% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, blow lamp imports contracted slightly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports posted buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 33%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then shrank modestly in the following year.

In 2022, Japan (X tons), distantly followed by South Korea (X tons) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) represented the largest importers of blow lamps, together committing 71% of total imports. The United Arab Emirates (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and Myanmar (X tons) held a little share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by South Korea (with a CAGR of +68.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Japan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported blow lamps in Asia, comprising 43% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by South Korea ($X), with a 20% share of total imports. It was followed by Taiwan (Chinese), with a 13% share.
In Japan, blow lamp imports increased at an average annual rate of +7.8% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: South Korea (+40.9% per year) and Taiwan (Chinese) (+25.0% per year).
