The following exporters - Turkey (X units), Malaysia (X units) and the United Arab Emirates (X units) - together made up 9.1% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to breathing appliances exports from China stood at +1.0%. At the same time, Turkey (+21.9%), the United Arab Emirates (+9.6%), Singapore (+6.4%), Taiwan (Chinese) (+4.4%), South Korea (+2.7%) and Malaysia (+1.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of +21.9% from 2012-2022. While the share of Turkey (+3 p.p.), Taiwan (Chinese) (+2.3 p.p.) and Singapore (+2.2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of China (-6.9 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest breathing appliances supplying countries in Asia were China ($X), Singapore ($X) and Taiwan (Chinese) ($X), together accounting for 65% of total exports. South Korea, Turkey, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 20%.

In terms of the main exporting countries, Turkey, with a CAGR of +27.5%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in Asia amounted to $X per unit, surging by 2% against the previous year. Export price indicated slight growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, breathing appliances export price increased by +7.2% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the export price increased by 78%. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per unit, surging by 19% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.3%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
