Moreover, Iraq emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Asia, with a CAGR of +33.1% from 2012-2022. The United Arab Emirates experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Iraq increased by +7.4, +7.3, +2.5, +2 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
