The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported non-refractory ceramic building bricks in Asia, comprising 44% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by South Korea ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by Singapore, with an 8.8% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Kazakhstan totaled +8.6%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: South Korea (+15.0% per year) and Singapore (-16.0% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per unit, surging by 6.8% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%.
