In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest non-refractory clay roofing tiles supplier in Asia, comprising 77% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Thailand ($X), with a 6.3% share of total exports. It was followed by Turkey, with a 5.7% share.
In China, non-refractory clay roofing tiles exports expanded at an average annual rate of +20.7% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Thailand (+0.8% per year) and Turkey (+13.0% per year).

The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest non-refractory clay roofing tiles importing markets in Asia were India ($X), South Korea ($X) and the United Arab Emirates ($X), with a combined 42% share of total imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, India, with a CAGR of +27.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year.
