From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Thailand (with a CAGR of +37.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Based on 2021 figures, copper wire export price increased by +38.6% against 2018 indices. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, the largest copper wire importing markets in Asia were China ($X), Turkey ($X) and India ($X), with a combined 34% share of total imports.
