In value terms, Indonesia ($X) remains the largest degras supplier in Asia, comprising 73% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Malaysia ($X), with an 18% share of total exports. It was followed by Bahrain, with a 0.6% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Indonesia amounted to +11.3%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Malaysia (+0.4% per year) and Bahrain (+26.3% per year).

The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, increasing by 63% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a strong expansion. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Among the main importing countries, Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +29.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, with an increase of 19% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.0%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
