Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2020, and then declined dramatically in the following year.
Exports by Country
China was the major exporting country with an export of around X tons, which recorded 57% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) and India (X tons), together constituting a 30% share of total exports. The following exporters - South Korea (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) - together made up 6.4% of total exports.
Exports from China decreased at an average annual rate of -7.1% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, the United Arab Emirates (+23.8%), India (+10.5%), Turkey (+10.4%) and Malaysia (+4.9%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of +23.8% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Taiwan (Chinese) (-2.0%) and South Korea (-4.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and India increased by +10, +5.2 and +4 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest solid fuel furnace burner supplier in Asia, comprising 56% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Turkey ($X), with an 8.9% share of total exports. It was followed by South Korea, with a 7.4% share.
In China, solid fuel furnace burner exports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Turkey (+9.2% per year) and South Korea (-1.6% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, with a decrease of -23.1% against the previous year. Export price indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.6% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, solid fuel furnace burner export price increased by +18.0% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 32%. After two years of growth, purchases abroad of furnace burners for solid fuel or gas decreased by -28.7% to X tons in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a perceptible decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 32% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2020, and then reduced remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, solid fuel furnace burner imports dropped rapidly to $X in 2021. In general, imports saw a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 35% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, China (X tons), Turkey (X tons) and Indonesia (X tons) represented the main importer of furnace burners for solid fuel or gas in Asia, committing 46% of total import. The United Arab Emirates (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 7.6% share, followed by Malaysia (5.4%) and Oman (4.9%). The following importers - Vietnam (X tons), South Korea (X tons), Thailand (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons), India (X tons), Japan (X tons) and Iran (X tons) - together made up 23% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Japan (with a CAGR of +16.9%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported furnace burners for solid fuel or gas in Asia, comprising 30% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Turkey ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by Thailand, with a 6.4% share.
In China, solid fuel furnace burner imports declined by an average annual rate of -4.4% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Turkey (+4.0% per year) and Thailand (+13.1% per year).
