While the share of Indonesia (+14 p.p.), Singapore (+8.5 p.p.), India (+2.9 p.p.) and the United Arab Emirates (+2.2 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2021, the share of Thailand (-1.8 p.p.), Japan (-2.6 p.p.) and China (-18.4 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, Indonesia ($X), China ($X) and Singapore ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, together comprising 71% of total exports.

Among the main exporting countries, Singapore, with a CAGR of +32.2%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

In 2021, the export price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, jumping by 17% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a mild reduction. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
