The following exporters - Saudi Arabia (X tons), Kuwait (X tons) and Jordan (X tons) - together made up 7.3% of total exports.

The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest iron or steel bridges supplying countries in Asia were Bahrain ($X), China ($X) and the United Arab Emirates ($X), together comprising 82% of total exports.
Among the main exporting countries, Bahrain, with a CAGR of +192.8%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, falling by -5.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while Bahrain ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2022, the amount of iron or steel bridges and bridge-sections imported in Asia fell to X tons, waning by -6.9% compared with the previous year's figure. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 44% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, iron or steel bridges imports declined markedly to $X in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +3.1% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 30%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell rapidly in the following year.
Imports by Country
Saudi Arabia (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) represented roughly 60% of total imports in 2022. Bangladesh (X tons) took an 8.5% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Oman (6.9%) and India (5.4%). Kuwait (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Bangladesh (with a CAGR of +42.4%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest iron or steel bridges importing markets in Asia were the United Arab Emirates ($X), Saudi Arabia ($X) and India ($X), with a combined 53% share of total imports. Bangladesh, Oman and Kuwait lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 21%.
Among the main importing countries, Bangladesh, with a CAGR of +40.1%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 20% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($X per ton), while Saudi Arabia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
