Singapore (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Vietnam (X tons), Hong Kong SAR (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (with a CAGR of +19.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, surging by 6.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while Hong Kong SAR ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
