The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest hide preparing machinery importing markets in Asia were Vietnam ($X), China ($X) and Turkey ($X), together comprising 59% of total imports. India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Hong Kong SAR, Bahrain and Armenia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 29%.

Among the main importing countries, Bahrain, with a CAGR of +55.6%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
