Israel (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a 16% share, followed by Indonesia (11%), Taiwan (Chinese) (9.8%), Malaysia (6.2%) and Jordan (5.4%). India (X tons) took a little share of total exports.

At the same time, India (+15.2%), Malaysia (+9.2%), Indonesia (+6.2%), Jordan (+4.7%) and Israel (+4.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, India emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of +15.2% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Taiwan (Chinese) (-8.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, India and China increased by +3.7, +3.4, +3.2, +2.7 and +1.9 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest oxides of boron supplier in Asia, comprising 43% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Israel ($X), with a 19% share of total exports. It was followed by Taiwan (Chinese), with a 6.6% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China amounted to +10.4%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Israel (+13.0% per year) and Taiwan (Chinese) (-0.7% per year).

The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, with an increase of 27% against the previous year. Overall, the export price enjoyed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 34%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Israel ($X per ton), while Indonesia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+8.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of oxides of boron, boric acids and inorganic acids, when their volume decreased by -9.5% to X tons. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 28%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, oxides of boron imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated temperate growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the last decade. China was also the fastest-growing in terms of the oxides of boron, boric acids and inorganic acids imports, with a CAGR of +7.9% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Thailand (+6.2%) and Malaysia (+5.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. South Korea experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, India (-3.3%), Taiwan (Chinese) (-6.1%) and Japan (-7.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of China increased by +26 percentage points.
