From 2019 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, aluminium hydroxide exports rose rapidly to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 39% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Australia (X tons) and China (X tons) dominates exports structure, together generating 79% of total exports. India (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total exports with a 5.1% share, followed by Indonesia (4.9%) and South Korea (4.9%). Vietnam (X tons) and Japan (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Indonesia (with a CAGR of +66.4%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X), Australia ($X) and South Korea ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together accounting for 80% of total exports. Japan, Vietnam, India and Indonesia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 19%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, Indonesia, with a CAGR of +60.7%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Asia-Pacific stood at $X per ton in 2022, picking up by 12% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.6%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the export price increased by 15%. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($X per ton), while Indonesia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Japan (+9.0%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

At the same time, India (+14.1%), China (+7.3%), Taiwan (Chinese) (+4.3%) and South Korea (+3.4%) displayed positive paces of growth.
