Exports by Country

In 2022, Pakistan (X tons) represented the key exporter of chromium ores and concentrates, mixing up 76% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the Philippines (X tons), constituting a 21% share of total exports. China (X tons) took a minor share of total exports.

Exports from Pakistan decreased at an average annual rate of -2.8% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, China (+29.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, China emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of +29.2% from 2012-2022. By contrast, the Philippines (-1.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
