In value terms, India ($X) remains the largest colour lake supplier in Asia-Pacific, comprising 84% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by South Korea ($X), with a 4.6% share of total exports. It was followed by China, with a 3.5% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in India amounted to +12.2%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: South Korea (-1.9% per year) and China (+22.0% per year).
