In 2021, the export price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per unit, increasing by 23% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the export price increased by 25%. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the peak figure at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was India ($X per unit), while South Korea ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In general, imports, however, recorded a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 41%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, off-highway dumper imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a drastic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 40% against the previous year. Australia was the key importer of dumpers for off-highway use in Asia-Pacific, with the volume of imports recording X units, which was near 51% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Indonesia (X units), constituting a 19% share of total imports. India (X units), Japan (X units), Lao People's Democratic Republic (X units), the Philippines (X units), Malaysia (X units), New Zealand (X units), Vietnam (X units) and Myanmar (X units) held a relatively small share of total imports.

Imports into Australia decreased at an average annual rate of -1.9% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, India (+17.7%), New Zealand (+5.6%), Lao People's Democratic Republic (+4.0%) and Malaysia (+3.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, India emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of +17.7% from 2012-2021. Vietnam and Japan experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Indonesia (-8.8%), the Philippines (-10.7%) and Myanmar (-25.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Australia (+18 p.p.), India (+3.8 p.p.), Lao People's Democratic Republic (+2 p.p.), Malaysia (+1.6 p.p.) and Japan (+1.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Indonesia and Myanmar saw its share reduced by -5.2% and -11.1% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest off-highway dumper importing markets in Asia-Pacific were Australia ($X), Indonesia ($X) and India ($X), together accounting for 78% of total imports.

In terms of the main importing countries, India, with a CAGR of +15.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per unit, rising by 6.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 31%. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
