Indonesia represented the main exporter of graphic paper with mechanical fibre content under 10% and of weight X-150 g/m2 in sheets in Asia-Pacific, with the volume of exports resulting at X tons, which was approx. 52% of total exports in 2021. Singapore (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Thailand (X tons), China (X tons) and India (X tons). All these countries together held near 45% share of total exports.
Indonesia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of graphic paper with mechanical fibre content under 10% and of weight X-150 g/m2 in sheets. At the same time, India (+9.4%) and Singapore (+3.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, India emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of +9.4% from 2012-2021. Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, major exporting countries recorded the following prices: in Thailand ($X per ton) and China ($X per ton), while India ($X per ton) and Indonesia ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (-0.6%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.
