The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Singapore (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Macao SAR (X tons). All these countries together took near 34% share of total imports. Afghanistan (X tons) held a little share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Afghanistan (with a CAGR of +34.5%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest chicken egg importing markets in Asia-Pacific were Hong Kong SAR ($X), Singapore ($X) and Macao SAR ($X), together comprising 89% of total imports. These countries were followed by Afghanistan, which accounted for a further 1.6%.
