The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest paper label supplier in Asia-Pacific, comprising 51% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Hong Kong SAR ($X), with a 22% share of total exports. It was followed by Taiwan (Chinese), with a 6.7% share.

These countries were followed by Indonesia, Bangladesh, China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines, Australia and Myanmar, which together accounted for a further 47%.

Among the main importing countries, Myanmar, with a CAGR of +20.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

In 2021, the import price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per ton, declining by -8.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 7.4%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
