The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 88%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, China (X tons) and Vietnam (X tons) represented the key exporters of lemons and limes in Asia-Pacific, together accounting for near 68% of total exports. It was distantly followed by India (X tons) and Thailand (X tons), together committing a 16% share of total exports. The following exporters - Hong Kong SAR (X tons), Australia (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) - each resulted at an 8.5% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Thailand (with a CAGR of +49.5%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X), Vietnam ($X) and India ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together comprising 81% of total exports. Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, Australia and Malaysia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 11%.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the export price increased by 16% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while Malaysia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, the largest lemon and lime importing markets in Asia-Pacific were Japan ($X), South Korea ($X) and Hong Kong SAR ($X), with a combined 56% share of total imports.
