Cambodia (X tons) took an 11% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by China (8.1%). Vietnam (X tons), Afghanistan (X tons) and Indonesia (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Cambodia (with a CAGR of +171.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest marble and travertine supplying countries in Asia-Pacific were India ($X), Pakistan ($X) and China ($X), together accounting for 73% of total exports. These countries were followed by Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cambodia and Indonesia, which together accounted for a further 23%.
Among the main exporting countries, Cambodia, with a CAGR of +88.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported marble and travertine in Asia-Pacific, comprising 84% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by India ($X), with an 11% share of total imports.
