The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +76.4% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 65% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

While the share of China (+18 p.p.), India (+3.6 p.p.) and Vietnam (+1.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of South Korea (-4.7 p.p.) and Japan (-7.4 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

The second position in the ranking was held by South Korea ($X), with an 11% share of total imports. It was followed by Japan, with a 7.9% share.
