China (X tons), Pakistan (X tons) and Vietnam (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Exports from Thailand increased at an average annual rate of +16.2% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, the Philippines (+18.4%), China (+12.1%) and India (+10.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of +18.4% from 2012-2021. South Korea experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Pakistan (-3.7%) and Vietnam (-8.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Thailand (+33 p.p.) and the Philippines (+5.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Pakistan, South Korea and Vietnam saw its share reduced by -3.9%, -5.3% and -6.6% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Thailand ($X) remains the largest concentrated lemon and other citrus fruit juice supplier in Asia-Pacific, comprising 31% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Philippines ($X), with a 15% share of total exports. It was followed by South Korea, with a 13% share.

In Thailand, exports of concentrated lemon and other citrus fruit juice increased at an average annual rate of +10.9% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Philippines (+27.6% per year) and South Korea (-1.5% per year).
