Exports from China increased at an average annual rate of +21.3% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Thailand (+23.5%) and Taiwan (Chinese) (+6.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Thailand emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of +23.5% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Japan (-6.4%), Hong Kong SAR (-6.5%) and South Korea (-8.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of China and Thailand increased by +43 and +3 percentage points, respectively.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest remote control apparatus supplier in Asia-Pacific, comprising 73% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Hong Kong SAR ($X), with an 8.2% share of total exports. It was followed by Taiwan (Chinese), with a 4.9% share.

In China, remote control apparatus exports expanded at an average annual rate of +16.8% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Hong Kong SAR (+2.1% per year) and Taiwan (Chinese) (+13.9% per year).
