Lao People's Democratic Republic, with a CAGR of +91.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in Asia-Pacific stood at $X per unit in 2021, with a decrease of -7.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 an increase of 335%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2015 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($X per unit), while Lao People's Democratic Republic ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
