In value terms, the largest triethanolamine supplying countries in Asia-Pacific were Malaysia ($X), South Korea ($X) and Japan ($X), together accounting for 78% of total exports. These countries were followed by Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and Taiwan (Chinese), which together accounted for a further 19%.

Hong Kong SAR, with a CAGR of +4.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.

In 2021, the export price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per ton, falling by -32.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the export price increased by 19% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while South Korea ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
