From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Turkey (with a CAGR of +10.2%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Singapore ($X) remains the largest perfume supplier in Asia, comprising 38% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Hong Kong SAR ($X), with a 14% share of total exports. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates, with a 13% share.

In Singapore, perfume exports expanded at an average annual rate of +5.7% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Hong Kong SAR (+7.9% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (+8.1% per year).

The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, falling by -13.7% against the previous year. Export price indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.9% over the last decade. In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, stabilizing at the previous year. Import price indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, perfume import price increased by +63.3% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the import price increased by 18%.
