Over the period under review, the export prices attained the peak figure at $X per square meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

At the same time, Thailand (+14.0%), Japan (+9.1%), Vietnam (+8.1%), Turkey (+3.4%), Taiwan (Chinese) (+2.6%), South Korea (+2.2%) and Malaysia (+1.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Thailand emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Asia, with a CAGR of +14.0% from 2012-2021. By contrast, the United Arab Emirates (-2.3%), Singapore (-7.3%) and India (-16.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of China (+16 p.p.), Thailand (+3.2 p.p.) and Japan (+1.7 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of South Korea (-1.5 p.p.), Singapore (-2.8 p.p.) and India (-8.4 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest photographic film importing markets in Asia were China ($X), Taiwan (Chinese) ($X) and South Korea ($X), together comprising 61% of total imports.

Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +4.0%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
