China prevails in exports structure, amounting to X units, which was near 90% of total exports in 2022. The following exporters - Malaysia (X units) and Thailand (X units) - together made up 4.8% of total exports.
China was also the fastest-growing in terms of the radio receivers exports, with a CAGR of -2.0% from 2012 to 2022. Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($X per unit), while China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+2.5%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

After three years of decline, supplies from abroad of radio receivers increased by 13% to X units in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a abrupt decrease. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, Hong Kong SAR (X units), distantly followed by India (X units), Japan (X units), the United Arab Emirates (X units), Malaysia (X units) and Thailand (X units) were the main importers of radio receivers, together committing 70% of total imports. Turkey (X units), Singapore (X units), Uzbekistan (X units), Indonesia (X units), South Korea (X units), China (X units) and the Philippines (X units) took a minor share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of +69.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest radio receiver importing markets in Asia were Japan ($X), India ($X) and Indonesia ($X), together comprising 51% of total imports. Turkey, South Korea, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Uzbekistan lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 40%.
Uzbekistan, with a CAGR of +33.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per unit, falling by -7.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.9%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($X per unit), while Hong Kong SAR ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
