In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported self-propelled earth moving, excavating machinery in Asia, comprising 53% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by India ($X), with a 9.1% share of total imports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a 7.7% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China was relatively modest. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: India (+11.2% per year) and Kazakhstan (+2.8% per year).
