By contrast, the United Arab Emirates (-1.4%), Hong Kong SAR (-6.5%) and Saudi Arabia (-8.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Iraq and Taiwan (Chinese) increased by +5.7, +4.9, +4.9, +2.9, +1.9 and +1.8 percentage points, respectively.
