Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, teleferics and chair-lifts exports soared to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 29% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, the largest teleferics and chair-lifts importing markets in Asia were South Korea ($X), Vietnam ($X) and China ($X), with a combined 60% share of total imports. Armenia, Georgia, Singapore and Thailand lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 12%.

Among the main importing countries, Armenia, with a CAGR of +115.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per unit, reducing by -65.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the import price increased by 91% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2018 to 2022, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
