From 2017 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, transporter and bridge cranes exports amounted to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, saw a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 42% against the previous year. In China, transporter and bridge cranes exports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Japan (+2.2% per year) and Thailand (+30.6% per year).

The export price in Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, rising by 1.6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced setback. In 2021, Singapore (X units), distantly followed by South Korea (X units), India (X units), Turkey (X units), Vietnam (X units), Indonesia (X units) and Qatar (X units) represented the main importers of transporter cranes, gantry cranes and bridge cranes, together creating 80% of total imports. Thailand (X units), Malaysia (X units), Oman (X units), the Philippines (X units), Bangladesh (X units) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X units) took a minor share of total imports.

From 2014 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($X per unit), while Indonesia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
