From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to uncoated filter paper exports from China stood at +9.7%. At the same time, Turkey (+27.9%) and South Korea (+3.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia, with a CAGR of +27.9% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Japan (-7.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In China, uncoated filter paper exports expanded at an average annual rate of +9.1% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: South Korea (+6.2% per year) and Turkey (+26.3% per year).

The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, shrinking by -7.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a mild descent. It was distantly followed by Turkey (X tons), India (X tons), Iran (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons), together creating a 32% share of total imports. Among the main importing countries, the United Arab Emirates, with a CAGR of +34.8%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, picking up by 7.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.6%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
