In terms of the main exporting countries, China, with a CAGR of +19.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Asia stood at $X per cubic meter in 2021, picking up by 21% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of export peaked at $X per cubic meter in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per cubic meter), while Thailand ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
